Gmail - The Best Email Client

I have been using Gmail for a while now, and I strongly believe it is the best email service out there right now. It is a free service, and it is better than expensive alternatives such as AOL. Gmail gives you over 2.5 gigabytes of storage, but that is not the only good thing, nor is it my main reason for advocating Gmail. I love the Gmail interface. It is simpler than anything else, yet it has more features than any other free email client. Also, the site speed is 10x faster than Hotmail or AOL, and the spam filter has not yet blocked a single serious email, while it has eliminated over 99% of spam.

Level 2
But here is the cool part for all you "Tech Gurus." Go to http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm and download the Shell Extension. Now you can use your Gmail account as a hard drive! You can access it from My Computer like a regular hard drive, but there are a few limitations. However, it is great for storing important documents and then remotely accessing them from somewhere else. Much easier than emailing yourself, or using a portable flash drive.

Gmail is invitation only. So if you need a Gmail invite, you can email me. I have hundreds. But it would probably be faster to go to http://gmail.n3ldan.info. They respond to requests instantly, so you can get Gmail and get going faster!
